If you wish to purchase products via our web shop or would like to set up a web shop account, or would like to use our eSERVICES portal, we will request your name and other personal information in order to be able to process orders and issue invoices.
III. PHYSICAL ADDRESS
Use of most of our software products requires you to submit the physical (MAC) address of your computer, enabling us to issue a license file. Once we have received the physical address, we use and store this information, together with other information received from you, in order to create and administer your license files.
IV. STORAGE AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your personal information is stored on secure servers, supported by the best possible technical and administrative protection against loss, deletion, access, alteration or dissemination of your data by unauthorised persons. Access to your data is limited to a few authorised individuals, which are responsible for looking after the servers for technical, sales or administrative reasons. Despite regular controls it is, however, impossible to guarantee complete protection against all threats. The personal information you provide for the web shop is transferred in SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encrypted format over the Internet.
V. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES
Data provided when opening a web shop or eSERVICES account or placing an order are used exclusively for the purpose of processing your order. This may involve passing on your details to companies involved with fulfilling your order. Otherwise we will not pass your data on to third parties without your express permission, unless we are required by law or a court ruling to disclose information to entitled persons.
VII. WEB ANALYTICS
Our Website www.cad-schroer.com uses the PIWIK open source web analytics software to analyse visitor information in order to improve our offering. Data collected by PIWIK (such as a shortened Internet Protocol (IP) address, the visitor‘s browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request) are stored in a database. The analyses produced by PIWIK are completely anonymised and cannot be used to identify individual persons. We do not link data stored by PIWIK with other data sources or other information you share with us on the website, nor do we pass this data on to third parties. Your use of this website constitutes your acceptance of our use of the data in the manner described above.
